Registration for the 2023 Annual Meeting Live+ has been made accessible by the International Trademark Association (INTA). The event, which will be the Association’s 145th Annual Meeting, will include an in-person meeting from May 16–20, 2023, in Singapore’s Sands Expo & Convention Center, and an online meeting from June 27–29, 2023. The meeting is a reflection of the various ways INTA events have returned to being in-person and how they have changed in response to the Covid-19 pandemic.

With three registration options—Live+ (a combination of in-person and virtual), In-Person Only, and Virtual Only—the 2023 Annual Meeting Live+ builds on the accomplishments and experience of the past several years. The Live+ and In-Person meetings are now receiving registrations; the Virtual Only Meeting will follow on March 13.
CEO of INTA Etienne Sanz de Acedo stated, “Our objective is to provide the worldwide intellectual property community the option to contribute in the way that makes the most sense for them. Over 7,000 brand professionals, entrepreneurs, and government representatives are expected to attend this year’s meeting; given that more than 1,000 people pre-registered for it the year before, organizers are optimistic they will accomplish their objective.
After its Annual Meeting in Hong Kong in 2014, this meeting is INTA’s second Annual Meeting in Asia.
The Business of Innovation is the focus of this year’s meeting, and there are two specially selected educational tracks: IP and Innovation and Business. The educational program specifically addresses the modern-day brand professionals increasing mandate and evolving responsibilities. The IP and Innovation track contains many of the essential subjects we anticipate at an Annual Meeting in addition to other important topics like corporate social responsibility and cutting-edge technology influencing how brands will function in the future.
Sessions on professional development, such as how to facilitate innovation when leading a team and how to avoid a communication faux pas in the global ecosystem, will also be included in the Innovation track. These sessions will be organized by and for government officials as well as a variety of other programs.
The Business track programming, which is new this year, will take place in the Innovation Marketplace (formerly known as the Exhibition Hall) and will feature brief and dynamic discussions with regional business leaders. In addition, there will be over 100 exhibitors exhibiting their latest IP technology.
The educational program is supplemented by different offline and online business development activities, including more than 250 Table Topics and numerous immersion excursions across Singapore.
